You'll sit with a thoughtful posture, perhaps gently tapping your fingers together. They'll pour out their hearts, but suddenly, the center will arise. It will tell you what is right and what is wrong. It will provide your reply, and give you the superiority to believe you are right. It will do everything but allow you to listen.

It is good that we can still meet somewhere, through all of the various meanings. As long as we take the time to understand what is said, we can always move forward.
Curiously, this post came today. I would not use the word 'center' there. Mind would be the word I'd use. Center I would associate with heart. But I know what you mean. The defended heart does not hear what is. Seeks an answer from mind.
